We have all heard the expression, “Be the kind of person your dog thinks you are.”
This saying typically conjures up feelings of love and respect for our furry family members. As dog owners, we value our pets and the joy they bring into our homes daily. We often look into their soulful eyes and wish they could talk to us…or maybe not! Dogs make us better people. If your dog is elderly, a young pup or somewhere in-between, anyone will tell you the love they give is unconditional and pure. From mischievous to the perfectly nose-trained hound, dogs have the ability to soothe the soul, make us laugh, cry and sometimes tear our hair out. A dog’s life is measured in so many moments…through the adorable puppy stage to the many chewed up socks, remote controls, glasses, shoes, rugs to the awesome tricks, walking partners, swimmers, games of fetch, car rides and snuggles. The people dogs live with are blessed to be a part of the journey.
